About General Arab Insurance Federation
The General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) is an Arab International Organization working to support the Arab Insurance Industry to achieve development & integration by following the policies and procedures mentioned in the Federation articles of Association in order to service its members interests
To achieve these objectives, the Federation works on:
- Establishing the unified Orange Card system (which became electronic in 2025), allowing vehicles to travel across Arab countries by covering Motor Third Party Liability (TPL).
- Organizing a biennial pan-Arab insurance conference, seminars, and participating in Arab insurance events.
- Compiling statistics, information, and studies about the insurance industry in Arab countries.
- Publishing a quarterly magazine focusing on insurance affairs, and a weekly electronic newsletter covering global and Arab market news, along with market reports.
- Raising awareness among companies about the importance of corporate governance, best practices, and encouraging digital transformation of operations.
- Promoting initiatives related to insurance education and spreading insurance information and culture.
